About Caribbean Prevention Center
Fundashon Prevenshon -as the Caribbean Prevention Center is called in our native language Papiamentu- was founded on December 23rd 2008, at the initiative of Professor Dr. H.M. Pinedo and the late Mr. Lionel Capriles.
Since its inception, Caribbean Prevention Center has partnered up with the Government of Curaçao, and major local benefactors, businesses, and organizations to accomplish its goals and objectives aimed at growing prevention and saving lives.
Through the years population screenings for Breast, Cervix and Colon have been rolled out.
Several other screening programs such as Glaucoma, Pre-diabetes and more are awaiting funding so they can be presented to the population of Curaçao.
